My customer is looking for an alternative to the IS4711FE.

can we provide a part optXXX with our AFE?

OR providing a photo diode from xx and an AFE from TI?

What are the customer requirements in terms of the frequency of the light being detected and required samples/second?

hi I thought this is mention on the Sharp part, actually the application is only on/off, actually we can change the photo diode emission and receiving...if it make us cheap and easy..
I will check with the customer if there is a special frequency.

Thanks. Could you also please let me know what the application is? I am wondering if OPT3001 or OPT3002 would work for this. These are newer parts and integrate ADC and sensor into a single package. The fastest integration time is 100ms, however.
