Q:how can I get depth data directly without voxel viewer,and export to serial COM on PC?

Hi,I have a OPT8241-CDK -EVM. Ive know the normal procedure to get depth date ,which is extracted .vxl to .bin or .dat by voxel viewer.

but this way to get depth data indirectly ,and cannot suit for ARM developing whithout OS.

is it correct that if I get and process realtime depth date the only way is to get .vxl and process on linux or other os in ARM?but I think have to do same is extracted .vxl to .bin or .dat .

In this way ,I think it will solw down the controller to control something because of many steps.

Hi,

We provide an open-source SDK and you can modify it to capture just the phase data. Here's the link:
github.com/.../voxelsdk

This has been tested for Raspberry pi running Ubuntu 16.04.

Do u have any instructions step-by-step how to run open-source sdk and capture data in Raspberry pi ? sorry for asking that ,Im a freshman.

thanks a lot! but I need to type "save" command so that I can caputre data . I want to know the way get data realtime without save . Its better that the data stream out on COM

Hi,

You'd have to write your own code on top of this to capture real-time data. VoxelCLI starts capturing, by itself and you need to figure out what you'd want to do with the data.

As an example, you can look at the demo applications here:

Look at hand-tracking and people-tracking for real-time capture and processing.
