Hello

we are developing a variable reluctance differential pressure sensor .it has two inductors.

we are going to use two resistances and the two inductors to form a wheatstone bridge.

could you tell me how I connect a wheatstone bridge to PGA970?

Hello Weiminig,

The PGA970 device is actually an LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) device. The LVDT is an accurate position sensing technology. So far I have not heard of a pressure sensing application that employs LVDT.

The PGA970 will not accept a wheatstone bridge, due to the fact that the LVDT sensor connects the secondary inductors directly to the input of the device.

PGA devices from Texas Instruments that do support a wheatstone bridge are: PGA900, PGA400, PGA308, PGA309, PGA300.
