Sensor to measure load/weight kept on a surface area 48x40in

Looking for sensor to measure the presence of load on a larger surface area (48x40in) and approx. weight measurement (no need of accuracy here).

Please suggest if there is a TI part available to try out.

    Hi Rajesh,

    Are you looking for the load cell element itself? TI does not produce the actual pressure sensors, but we do provide the sensor AFEs needed to read the signals from pressure sensors. The PGA300 would be the easiest to use and only requires minimal calibration to get accurate results. If more functionality is needed, the PGA900 provides the same ADC and output DAC with a programmable internal M0 microcontroller that can be used to implement your own temperature and linearity compensation algorithms.
