Hello,
My customer uses the TMP007 and has a question.
He wants to know the temperature of a object after power on, ASAP.
How many seconds does it take it output a temperature data after power on?

Hi Naoki,
If the customer is powering the device off then powering the device back on, the TMP007 will initate a power-on-reset each time the power is re-applied. This will return the TMP007 to its defaut register settings. On default the TMP007 will power up in a continuous conversion mode with the conversion rate set for 1.01 s total conversion time. Therefore it will take just over 1 s before the first conversion is completed. As an alternative the customer can use the non-volatile memory to change the configuration register settings. iI for example they would like to reduce the conversion time to as low as 260 ms.
