TMP112 reading byte 2 of temperature register

Hi TI support, I am trying to read temperature data from tmp112 sensor. I am unable to access the byte 2 of temperature register. How do i read the second byte. Do i have to use repeated start or is there another address for the register?

Hi Krutarth,

You’ll have to acknowledge the first byte then the 2^nd will come out, let us know if you continue to have difficulties. Also please refer to the “7.3.2.3 Writing and Reading Operation” especially figure 12 for read operation.

I have a problem programming tmp112 with i2c . I am using cc2650 and I have replaced tmp007 with tmp112. I am a beginner to processor coding . could I get the reference code.

I don’t have existing code for what you’re trying to accomplish, sorry.

I also noticed you are asking the same question on the other thread. What you already found is probably what you are going to get. I have never worked with CC2650. So you are way advanced than I am!
