Hi,

I`m using LM95214 in my board. when the temperature is above the limitation, the related TCRITx will change to low, then when

the temperature reback to the normal one(under the limitation), the TCRITx should be changed to high. however the situation I met isn`t like this. if need the TCRITx reback to high when the temperature back under the limitation, what should I do? does it be done automatically or need to do mannually? thanks a lot

Have you tried setting Common Tcrit Hysteresis (0x5A) to 0C?

The value of 0x5a is 0x0a in my board.what you mean is to modify all the limit value and make TCRITx recover, right?

my limited value is 85 degree, if set 0x5a to 0x0c,when the temperature back to 85-12=73, the TCRITx will recover, right? thanks.

Yes, I think you have correct understanding of Hysteresis setting. However, I was suggesting that you set Hysteresis to 0 celsius not 0x0C. This would cause TCRIT pin to return to high as soon as the temperature goes below the set point.

Hi,

The TCRITx output only behaves as a comparator you don't need to do anything other than set the hysteresis register to the value you need and the threshold to the number you need. Once the temperature goes above the threshold value the output will go low and when the temperature goes below the threshold value minus the hysteresis value the output will return high automatically. The LMT95235 does not support interrupt function for the TCRIT output.
