LMT01 EMI Suppression

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMT01

I have a customer asking the following questions regarding the LMT01:

How well does the LMT01 work in the presence of EMI?

The data sheet mentions "integrated EMI suppression". Can you say more about this? I noticed the input resistance at the Receiver is 10K ohms and the logic low current is 34ua, logic high current 135uA. These are not very high values. I am concerned that any EMI that gets through the cable shield will appear across the 10K resistor at the input of the digital receiver. This may not be that robust in a high EMI environment.

Can you comment on this? Thanks for your help with this!
