Sir/Madam,
I am using LMT70 sensor to measure the body temperature.I have a doubt that do we have to use any extra probe(which can be connected to T_ON pin) to measure the temperature. if not ,how we can use it to detect the body temperature?

Hi Rupesh,
Thank you for reaching out to us. LMT70 is perfectly for measuring accurate of body temperature application. Basically, T_ON pin is a switch where you can enable the output. I am sorry that I don't quite understand the second comment. Are you planning to use LMT70 for a probe? Please advise. Thanks.
Aaron
Hi Rupesh,
Unfortunately you can't - but we do have several TI designs you can look at to perhaps build your own:
Passive NFC Temperature Patch Reference Design
Human Skin Temperature Sensing for Wearable Applications Reference Design
Temperature Sensor for Wearable Devices Reference Design
There is also an app note that can help:
Wearable Temp-Sensing Layout Considerations Optimized for Thermal Response
The evaluation board was designed so you could break the tip (where the LMT70 is mounted) and add wires to the rest of the board. Take a look at the users guide perhaps you can use that:
LMT70 Evaluation Module Precise Analog Output Temperature Sensor with Output Enable
What is your application and how many would you need?
Take care,
Hi Rupesh,
No the only package the LMT70 is available in is the WCSP (SMD) as the datasheet and store show.
Take care,
