Hi Team,
Could you please help preview the LM95234 layout and customer question in attached word file?

  • TI Support team will will review your layout and will provide recommendations in the next 24 hrs.
  • Is the customer's goal to measure ambient air temperature using the local channel? The copper material removed beneath the device will help to some degree. There's no need to connect two traces to the thermal pad beneath the device. It shouldn't be necessary to electrically connect this pad at all, but I'm having trouble getting confirmation on that.

We recommend smaller local-only temperature sensors with additional PCB isolation for ambient air measurements. See www.ti.com/.../snoa967 and www.ti.com/.../snoa966

I would like to see additional pictures of the remote channels. We often see customer issues with noise coupling into the remote channel traces. Generally, these issues can only be solved with better layout technique and shielding.
