LM95231: SMBus slave address

Hello,

I have bought LM95231CIMM/NOPB and downloaded the data sheet (rev E) from ti.com. In this document it says that the SMBus slave address for my part 1010111, but the address of the device corresponds to the description of the manufacturer National Semiconductor – 0101011. I have checked the marking on the part: 34CE T23C.

My question is why the SMBus address LM95231CIMM / NOPB does not match the data sheet (rev E) from ti.com.?

Hi Sergey,

I'm sorry for the confusion. This is a typo in the current datasheet when we converted from National datasheet to TI datasheet. Attached is a snapshot device information from National old datasheet. It should be 0101011, and I checked the database the marking T23C is correct corespond to I2C address of 0x4B.

What about fixing the Datasheet or writing an errata? I ran into the same problem and it took me 3 days to figure out what was wrong...
