LM95235EVAL: Software for EVAL of temperature sensor

Part Number: LM95235EVAL

Hi teams,

My customer wants to test the LM95235 in EVAL.
But, its software of EVAL doesn't open in the HP.
Please let me know how to download the software?
If you have, would you give me?

There is address for download site.

Best regards.

  • Hi Hayashi,

The LM95235EVAL board is no longer available and has been changed to Not Recommended for New Designs (NRND) status. The LM95235 device is not affected by this change, and is still available for sale.

TMP411 and TMP431 are pin compatible with LM95235. These devices have higher accuracy across a broader range of transistors, and significantly less current consumption than LM95235.

The LM95235 has a feature called TruTherm which improves temperature accuracy when used with process geometries 65nm and below. Beta Correction is a similar technology which is featured in TMP431. If your customer is not using the temperature sensor to measure a small geometry CPU/FPGA, I would not recommend using these products.

Unfortunately, none of the devices discussed thus far have an evaluation board available for them.

TMP461 is a recent release (2015,) which is most similar to LM95235 features/size, and which has an evaluation board available. www.ti.com/.../TMP461EVM TMP461 offers even higher accuracy, lower current consumption, smaller package, and significantly faster temperature measurements than the previously mentioned products.

Let me know if you have any further questions about these products or other temperature sensors from TI.

    Thanks,
    Ren

    Thank you for your reply.
My customer wants to test the LM95235, because They bought the EVM of LM95235.
The reason why they want software so quickly is that they need to test the operation of the system using that EVM.
Can you send me the software without support.

We recommend the TMP series at the timing of the next trial production.

    Best regards

  • Hi Hayashi-san,

Thank you for reaching out to us for your inquiries. If customer has the EVM and Windows 7 system, they can download the software from this forum below link. I provided the instruction how to get the EVM up and running using the patch file.
