LM57: Input Filtering

Part Number: LM57

A customer is experiencing glitches on the output of the LM57. The device is applied into a noisy environment and it was verified there is noise reflected on Vsense 1 & 2. Do we have any input filtering guidelines? Furthermore, does the voltage at sense 1 & 2 represent a true analogue relashionship with the output or are these sampled at power up to determine the gain and then apply a trim/fixed scale factor?

At a first glance, filtering Vsense with a capacitor would result in a current flow/short circuit through the top esd cell when VCC = GND ! VCAP (power off or VCC glitch, for example).
