LMT01: increase LMT01 cable length

Hi,

I'd like to use LMT01 for temperature sensing and the datasheet shows a maximum length of 2m for the cable connection. Is it possible to increase this length to 3m?

    Hi Gaston,

    Two meters is a recommendation; it's not a requirement. LMT01 sinks 34uA or 125uA to indicate logic low and high respectively. It pulses at 88kHz. It's up to the customer to design a circuit which can reliably resolve the pulses received. The capacitance/resistance of the cabling is just one parameter of such circuit.
