TDC7200: pin INTB has no change

Part Number: TDC7200

Hi Everyone,

while I am testing single chip TDC7200 with a MCU, everything normal expect the INTB pin signal, I get the trigger signal, I get the Time1 and calbration registers data, but the INTB keeps low on the oscilloscope.  Does anyone know why?

  • Hello,

INTB gets pulled low when the measurement is complete. It should be pulled up to 3.3V with a 10k resistor on your board, and the TDC7200 will pull it low at the end of a measurement. INTB will stay low until you start a new measurement by setting the new measurement bit (which clears the interrupt status register and resets INTB).

If the INTB pin isn't already pulled up to 3.3V with a resistor, please do that. Otherwise it seems like it is working as intended based on what you have described.

    Regards,
  • Yes,It is exactly the mistake I made, Thank you Scott! By the way how many times measurements can a 7200 perform in one second?
