AFE5401-Q1: Unused INx_AUX pins

Hello,

I have a customer who is not using the INx_AUX inputs. What is the recommendation in terms of termination of these unused input pins. Do they leave open, pull high, tie to ground?

Hi Faizul,

The auxiliary input channels if not used can be left open.

Thanks for the quick reply. The customer has these pins all tied to ground at the moment. Is that ok also or should I recommend they leave them open. They are currently in layout. The datasheet does not seem to have any information on this unless I missed it.

Faizul,

Both the auxiliary inputs and analog inputs are internally biased using input termination resistors and hence it is recommended to leave them open or AC ground the inputs.
I would not DC short them to ground.
