Driver for ultrasonic measurements

Hi everyone,
in my project i have to use two piezoelectric sensors (one is the trasmitter and the other one is the receiver) in order to evaluate the distance between them (from 3cm to 10 cm) using the time of flight of an ultrasound wave and i have some problems to find an appropriate driver.
I need an entire board with the MCU already incorporate, i know that exists some Analogic Front-ends but i need all the EVM.
For example, do you think that TDC1000-TDC7200EVM would solve this problem? Are there other boards that are smaller (for inegrated applications)?
Could you help me?

Hello Luigi,

The TDC1000-TDC7200EVM provides exactly what you describe. It has an integrated MSP430 microcontroller to configure the TDC devices and communicate via USB to a PC. Currently there are no small boards already designed. The full schematic for the TDC100-TDC7200EVM is available in the user's guide (www.ti.com/.../sniu021a.pdf) and you are free to use that as a basis to design a new board if you would like.
