Hi,

I am working on MSP430FR6047 base water flow meter. I am using AudioWell 25mm brass flow tube.

I ran "USSLib_GUI_Demo" and loaded default USS parameters from GUI application.

I found that the reading are much less than actual flow.

Then I found valid meter constant range is 0 to 22742000 as set it to MAX possible i.e. (22742000)

But still I am getting reading 10 times less than actual.

and if I increase meter constant above the range to match reading with actual flow then it is causing higher variation at low flow.

also at zero flow , reading fluctuates in +/- 10 LPH

Hi Sanjay,

The volume flow rate is not actually a really problem. It is more like a scale issue. And it also depends on which unit you are using with(LPH, GPM or etc.).

There is one thing you should pay attention to is the standard deviation of the dTOF @zero flow, room temp.

Based on your setings, you should get the STD of the dTOF around 25ps. If it is not, then you need to check your configurations.

we have achieved std deviation of dTOF between 24 to 26 ps, but still the zero flow rate readings are varying between -3 to -4 LPH.

The zero flow rate showed on the USS DC is just for function illustration. You can calculate the zero flow rate by your own.
