TDC1000-TDC7200EVM: Test Cell is not attached with transducer, but GUI showed signal and reading on TOF and level(cm).

Hello,

At first, the system works fine. Later on, I didn't use the TDC board for weeks. When I am trying to connect the TDC board attached to test cell (water), the start graph on GUI, it showed wrong TOF readings, which, the oscilloscope couldn't find the signal at all. My test cell (water) level is 9 cm but GUI only showed up to 2.77cm.

Then. I disconnected the board with test cell, supposed there is no signal can be read from the GUI. But, GUI showed TOF reading and water level 2.77cm. Means, when there is test cell or not, the readings and signal on GUI is the same reading. Is there anything wrong with the GUI? I did install and uninstall the GUI software, it did not change for better. Is there anything wrong with the board instead?

Ajeera,

Please check if the transducer is firmly attached to your system. When the transducer is not properly connected we do not have the signal of START, STOP, and COMP_IN from the scope
