TDC7201-ZAX-EVM: TDC 7201 - Generating signals from Arduino.

Part Number: TDC7201-ZAX-EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TDC7201, MSP430F5529

Hi !
I try to follow this guide:

The only diffrence is that I am using Arduino board as my signal generator. I am generating 2 PWM signals where one is delayed in relation to the second one. This is my TOF I want to measure both on GUI and oscilloscope. The problem is I don't know exactly how to do it. I am connecting my signals from arduino to START and STOP pins but I am not sure exactly what to do with the DTC TRIGG. I 've read here in one of the threads that - "The DTG_TRIG is meant to be used with the trigger function of an external function generator to begin outputting signals.". Does it mean I need to connect it to Arduino and start sending "START" and "STOP" signals just after receiving TRIGG from DTC ? If so, when does it happen ? So far i wasn't able to spot any signal from that pin even after pressing "Start Meassurement" or  "Start Graph" buttons in GUI. I would be grateful for any advice and sorry if the question is not ambitious, I am new in this kind of stuff.
