  • Hi Arpit,

Which demo or software are you using?

    Regards,

I am using short range radar system demo and I am using CCS8. I want output from IWR1642 ic's pin so from which pin I will get that output.
  • In reply to Arpit Patel:

    Hello,

If you use the TI out of box demo, then processed data (Point cloud ) would be available on AR_MSS_LOGGER F14 (SPIB_CLK/SPI_CLK_2) pin.
It could be pin muxed to different balls depending upon pin muxing configuration given in the data sheet.

Default pin muxing makes it available on F14 (MSS_UARTB_TX) port from the device.

    Thanks and regards,

From where I can get pin diagram of IWR1642 so I can measure and see output at this pin.Help me in this.
  • In reply to Arpit Patel:

    Hello,

MSS Logger pin is connected to XDS110 device, From which processed data will be sent out to PC via UART interface on a Virtual COM port.

If you are using TI EVM IWR1642BOOST then you could look for the schematic/Layout information from the below link in the the EVM page.

    www.ti.com/.../IWR1642BOOST

    Schematic : www.ti.com/.../sprr256
    Layout: www.ti.com/.../sprr255

And ball numbers and pin mux information in the datasheet:
    www.ti.com/.../swrs212b.pdf (Page 9, Page 18)

    Thanks and regards,
    CHETHAN KUMAR Y.B.
