Part Number: AWR1443

Hi folks,

Do you have 1443 antenna pattern measurement data? I have done some measurement and it does not match the simulation data provided in the data sheet .

Thanks

  • Hi,
Please follow EVM user guide (section 2.6) which has detail about antenna pattern.

  • Hello Satyajeet,

How are you collecting the data? Can you share your data?

    Regards,

    Hi Jitendra, Adrian,

We place a power meter at bore sight and put 1443 in CW transmission mode. The plate on which the 1443 is mounted is rotated with high precision at appropriate angles in azimuth and elevation. At each angle we record the power as read by power meter.

Does TI have any measured data which you can share? The data sheet or the EVM user guide contains only the simulation data.

    Thanks,

    Hi Jitendra,

Any feedback? Can you share your measured data?

    Thanks
  • In reply to Satyajeet Ahuja:

    Hello Satyajeet,

Unfortunately, we cannot share out internal measurements beyond what is provided in the datasheet and or existing documentation.

If you would like you can share you data with us. Also, do you have an images of your test setup?

    Regards,

    Adrian

    Hi Adrian,

TI has shared the 6843 measured antenna radiation pattern data in the following doc

What is the problem in sharing the 1443 antenna measurement data?

    Thanks

  • In reply to Satyajeet Ahuja:

    Hello Satyajeet,

Unfortunately, we do not have this same data for 14xx. Right now we only have simulated data for this antenna pattern, but if this data becomes available I will share it.

    Regards,

    Adrian
