We want to pass 8KV ESD test on AWR1243 board. Could you please help to share your experience or suggestion on how to pass ESD test on the mmwave sensor?

Customer reported CSI on AWR1243 has no data but the antenna and SPI interface still work when ESD test. So they wonder if the CSI2 interface is sensitive to ESD.
You can see in section 5.2 of the datasheet that the device is only rated to 2kV HBM and 500V CDM. We cannot guarantee that the device will pass an 8kV test.

Customer want to pass the ESD test with their module. So is any suggestion to reduce the ESD to chip?

We have not done any testing or validation of any ESD mitigation techniques on our devices. If the customer needs to pass a higher ESD test than what the device is rated for they would have to devices their own techniques to reduce the shock to the device. We cannot guarantee anything beyond what is stated in the device datasheet.
