Hello,

I am using the Vital signs lab in AWR1642 ES 2.0 board. Everything is working fine and I am sending the comands and collecting the data through the USB port on the board. But know I want to send and recieve the data through the CAN. the following are my questions

Q1). In order to get the data through the can do I need to connect any seperate deviece or do I need to write any seperate program?

Q2). Can it possible to flash two seperate bin files of seperate labs ( for example vital signs lab and onject data over CAN ) at the same time through uniflash into AWR1642 . does it work?

For your second question, no it is not possible to flash two separate bin files onto the same device using Uniflash.

can you say me where can I include the CAN program Which was given in the pdf in mss code. can i include the code any where in the program of mss or do i need to copy at specified location?

This code is added into the mms_main.c file.

Please feel free to reference this lab from the automotive toolbox found on TI's Resource Explorer.

You can download the source files and look to see where the changes to implement CAN are located.
