IWR1443BOOST: Increasing data acquisition speed with DCA1000EVM

Hi,

I have a customer who is using IWR1443BOOST with DCA1000EVM.
They wants to reduce data acquisition time as quick as possible.
Currently it takes ~4sec, but he wants several tens of milli-seconds.

Is this feasible?

Are you trying to process the data in real time??
With the current available tools milli-seconds is not achievable.
The bottle neck being saving the data to disk and running the Packet_Reorder_Zerofill.exe.

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, customer wants to get data in real time.

They do not need packet reorder nor post processing to minimize data acquisition time.
Please see below script snapshot. They commented out last two processes.
Customer wonders if they can eliminate waits in the script (red circled).

They simply removed these waits and tried, but it generated errors.

You can get away with not having the wait after ar1.CaptureCardConfig_StartRecord, but you do need to have a long enough wait for the data to completely get captured after ar1.StartFrame(), so you might be able to reduce it if you send a small chirp that fits your goal.
On the top right of the DCA1000 board the DATA_TRAN_PRG LED will blink while data is getting captured.
