Hello, I’m setting up the IWR1642BOOST sensor and I want to ask you how you can get it to work with people counting up to 30 m. I tried to do this with mmWave_Demo_Visualizer but without success. If you have any ways to solve this problem then please send me everything. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Yuriy,

The Long Range People Counting demo is actually configured to work at up to 50 meters out. It is available on the Resource Explorer, dev.ti.com/.../node

Yes, but this lab is for iwr6843. I work on Iwr1642. Is there a solution to my problem?

Hi Yuriy,

There is a version of standard People Counting available for IWR1642 but the Long Range People Counting demo is available only for IWR6843.

Yes, but you have http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDEP-0090 which reports work IWR1642 BOOST at a distance of up to 80 m.

I just want to know from you how to use your information correctly.

Hi Yuriy,

The TIDEP-0090 is for Traffic Monitoring application whereas the chirp parameters and software are configured for a smaller space in the People Counting Demo.
