Hi,

In according with the application report AWR1243 Cascade I have some question:

It is possible to have gerber information about the 20GHz LO sync (See the document: Cascaded Radar And Body&Chassis Automotive Applications)?

I have the position of the TX and RX antenna on the PCB similar with the MMWCAS-RF-EVM board (See the document: Cascaded Radar And Body&Chassis Automotive Applications), so the 20 GHz line must be routed on the internal layer,
the only way not to interfere with the antenna lines, positioned on the top, is to think of a 20GHz stripline on internal layers using a second dielectric. Is it a correct solution?

I have a second question, in attacched file is reporded my scheme of a two chip cascade, it is correct?

thanks for the information. It is possible to know the insertion loss of the two Wilkenson Power Divider using in 20GHz sync line?

Hi Marco,

Simulation from the current power splitter design shows insertion loss of around 3.3dB @ 20 GHz. Highly recommend that you fabricate your own RF and LO structures to verify the performance you get with your own PCB material and fabrication selection.
