Part Number: IWR6843ISK-ODS
I bought two parts one is MMWAVEICBOOST and the other is IWR6843ISK-ODS on July 3 this year.
The mother board (MMWAVEICBOOST) works well but the daughter board (IWR6843ISK-ODS) cannot work.
My computer cannot detect IWR6843ISK-ODS when an USB cable is connected (and the LED indicator on 6843ISK won't light).
But the other IWR6843ISK-ODS I borrowed from my friend can work (a LED indicator lights).
I have contacted the customer support and I ask TI replacement a new one for me.
They replied "In order to initiate customer return/replacement, as we need to get their approval in order for the return process to push through."
What should I do next?
We'll need a picture of your powered board and a screenshot of your device manager in order to proceed.
Which distributor did you get this from? Have you been in contact with them?

The attached files are the screenshot for the powered board and my device manager UI.
I bought this from TI store online directly not from the distributor in Taiwan (you can see my order).
The power supply is the same as the requirements in your document.
I think all my setting is OK. Why? Because I borrowed one IWR6843ISK-ODS from my friend, it works.
All settings are the same, the only difference is my IWR6843ISK-ODS cannot work ( PC cannot
detect it through USB cable and also the LED indicator does not light) but the borrowed IWR6843ISK-ODS is ok (the LED indicator lights).

While the LED appears powered off, your board looks quite used and not at all brand new.

These two boards just bought on June 03 this year.
I believe that TI can verify the defective board is a brand new product.
This was more than 2 months ago due to the condition of your board it does not seem close to brand new; moreover, in your first post you state you received the board July 03 which is inconsistent.

Your first post on this thread indicates July 3, regardless it is more than two months past and your board appears clearly used.
The warranty of this product should depend on when I get this product and not depend on how it looks like.
When we found it did not work, my students have searched possible solutions to fix it. However, no progression
has been made. Finally, I borrow a piece of ISW6843ISK-ODS from my friend to test it. It works. Thus, I claim all settings about the HW or SW are okay.
The problems is my ISW6843ISK-ODS is a defective one.
I do not get your points about my 6843 is used. Sure, when I got it on June 3. I opened the box and tried to use it. Thus, it looks like an used one.
I do not want to refund but want to replace a good one (even it is not a brand new).
I need this board to do my research on the topic of application of mm-wave sensors.
Actually, I have ordered another ISW6843ISK-ODS due to the tight schedule about my research project.
You can still insist on you point and you do have to reply me anymore.
