Hello, I'm using IWR1843.
I want to measure the S-parameter value.
I want to measure S11 and S21 how do I measure it?
I think it would be much better if you could take some pictures and send them to me.

    For example, if AWR1642 is like this, we don't know how to measure S-parameters with which program.

    Hello taewan gwon,

        S-parameters are measured on network analyzer, typically with the frequency extenders. One need to design a separate board with Antenna structures (Typically called coupon boards) and right transitions for instrumentation based measurement topology embedded it.

    One need to have right probing solutions as well. Typically network analyzers comes with 1mm connectors or wave-guides interface from which probing solution need to be connected. Right probing solution is also important, such as Wave-guide/1mm connector to GSG based probing (Each probe has it's own PCB specification for the geometry where it lands) and PCB need to have transition structures included to support such measurement options. In the EVM these options are not present, hence it's very challenging to measure S-parameters as it is.
