AWR1843: question about in-band spur components

Part Number: AWR1843
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DCA1000EVM

Hello.

I hope you can help me with the following issue.

We developed our custom board and captured the ADC data using DCA1000EVM.

The result shows ghost targets at around +/-340kHz and +/-700kHz offset of the real target.

There is no such frequency component on our board. Also, the tx spectrum doesn`t show such spur component.

Any possible reason for these signals and any advice to suppress these signals?

Thanks a lot and looking forward for your reply.

Best regards!

  • Hello Chenglin,

Looks like there is a 350Khz activity and its second harmonic is also coming at 700Khz.

    1) In your system do you have any digital IO that might be toggling at 350Khz rate?

    2) Does the power supply come from the switching regulator that might be switching at 350Khz rate?

    Regards,

    Vivek
