CD74HC4051: Ron when the Vcc is 3.3, VEE is 0

Part Number: CD74HC4051
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX1108, TMUX1208

Hi team,

My customer are using the CD74HC4051 in his board and the Ron value is important in his application.

Can you help to provide the Ron curve when the Vcc is 3.3 and VEE is 0?

I can't find the specs in this condition.

Lacey

Thanks so much

  • Hi Lacey,

Please see below link for our 5V  8 channel mux TMUX1108:

This part has fully characterized Ron data over various supply voltage and temperature curves. Below is the curve requested:

    What is the customer’s application?

    Thank you.

    Regards,

    Helen

  • Hi Helen,
The application of my customer is to select one of eight temperature monitor voltage, so the Ron may affect the results of the temperature sense.
Because now they only have the CD74HC4051 in their company's device list, so need to evaluate if the Ron can meet their requirement.
Do you have the Ron data when CD74HC4051 worked in 3.3V? Does the Ron is larger than the situation when worked in 4.5V?
    Lacey
    Thanks a lot!
  • Hi Lacey,
For your application, TMUX1208 is a great fit and meets your Ron requirement better. TMUX1208 is fully characterized and Ron data is available now. I would highly recommend having this part on the device list.

    Please see below for datasheet:

For CD74H4051 data, we would have to order parts and hardware to gather the data.

    Thank you,
    Helen
