Part Number: TS3DV642

Dear,

What is the max resolution of TS3DV642? The datasheet describes that it could support HDMI2.0 4K60Hz,but the revision history said 4K2K30Hz. So could you please help me to confirm?

Best regards

Kailyn

You are looking at the notes of rev change from A to B. Current datashet rev is F which states that the TS3DV642 supports HDMI2.0,

The TS3DV642 is a FET switch with no re-driver or re-timer capability. Care must be taken when adding TS3DV642 into the system. You may consider adding DP159 or TMDS181 to the design to improve the overall system performance.

    Thanks

    Hello David,

Thank you very much. But  our customer tested TS3DV642 and the EVM which both support 4K30Hz, not get to 60Hz,  so please help to confirm.

    Best regards

Are they testing the TS3DV642 with both a source and a sink that support 4K@60Hz?

The TS3DV642 also degrades signal quality and if the source and sink are already marginal, adding TS3DV642 to the signal path could downgrade and reduce the resolution to 30Hz.

    Thanks

    David
