Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS5A22364
Hello,
My customer has a question about TS5A32159.
TS5A23159 is an SPDT type analog switch.
Does sound come out when switching between NC and NO?
Best Regards,
Kaede Kudo

Hi Keade Kudo,
If there will be audible noise depends from the final application. But as in all switches there will be some noise induced while switching.
We suggest the TS5A22364 that has an internal shunt resistor which helps to reduce pop noises when switching between two sources.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
Best regards,
Ambroise
Hi Ambroise,
Thank you for your reply.
I understood your comment.
I think that the audible noise depends on the final application.
What my customer wanted to hear was whether they could hear a "click" like a relay switch.
Do you know that there is no "click" sound?
Best Regards,
Kaede Kudo
Hi Kaede Kudo,
As all our devices are integrated circuits, there wont be any audible noise or click from the device.
The only possible noise would be noise in the electric signal when switching the signals.
Best regards,
Ambroise
