Can SN74AHC4066 (4-channel 1:1 SPST switch) support +/-3V AC signal at 1MHz to be used for mixer application?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74AHC4066, TINA-TI

Hi

Our customer is going to use this device for signal mixer. (That is a kind of modulator or demodulator)

Then we have some question.

 1. Can this device allow to input the negative signal. (e.g. AC signal : 1MHz , +/- 3V)

      I understand the input voltage range is defined at datasheet.

 2. Do you have any reference circuit for signal mixer using this device?

* condition

    AC signal (+/- 3V)  -- [Analog switch : SN74AHC4066] --- (filter) --- MCU (ADC input)

           clock input (to analog switch)------|

      (The frequency of AC signal is same as the clock input (=sample clock). This means it is a direct conversion.)

Could you give us any advice if you have any information for this?

And please let me know if you have any question.
