TS3V713EL: Support DPST function?

Part Number: TS3V713EL

Hi Sirs,

Sorry to bother you.

We saw TS3V713EL is SPDT VGA mux, could we use be DPST?

If not , have others solution could do VGA signal DPST funciton?

Thanks!!

  • Hello Shu-Cheng,

Unfortunately the TS3V713EL cannot support DPST due to the integrated level shifters(making it unidirectional) for pins H and V which are required for VGA. (circled area)

However, with that being said, any bidirectional SPDT switch can be used as a DPST switch. For your application it will be limited by Vcc and bandwidth as is many signal chain applications are. With that being said we do offer a series of other SPDT switches that are bidirectional and for VGA which you can find on TI.com:

    www.ti.com/.../analog-switches-muxes-products.page SPDT&p1342=Composite Video;RGB Video;VGA

You can of course filter for much more than what I have, but I only knew what topology and application you wanted, you can also make limit it by the voltage of your application.

For example, assuming your application is within 3V, you could try using this part since it has no level shifters, allowing it to be bidirectional.

    Thank you,

    Louie
