TS5A3157: IBIS model

Part Number: TS5A3157
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS5A23157

Hi,

IBIS model of TS5A23157 is being used to simulate TS5A3157. But when open up on Cadence 17.2, we find all the pins are actually IbisInput model type. Should there be IbisOutput model type for NO, NC & COM since these pins are I/O?

Thanks.

  • YY,

By looking at the model, the input models (TS5A23157_IN_xx) are only for the input pins. For NO, NC and COM pins, you need to configure them as switches.

For example, pin 10 is connected to pin 9 if pin 1 is low, you can see that in the model lines 126 and line 105. Pin 10 is connected to pin 2 if pin 1 is high, you can see that in the model lines 130 and 106.

To get help configure the model correctly, please contact Cadence support. We do not have Cadence 17.2 and cannot comment on that.

    Thanks,
    JC
