TINA/Spice/SN74LVC2G66: TINA simulation result not matching feedthrough spec in datasheet

Part Number: SN74LVC2G66
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

e2e,

Even though switch off, the simulation shows large feedthrough.

(Attached zip file is the TINA simulation mdel & result) The datasheet says 42dB feedthrough, the simulation result shows less than 10dB.

So I want to request corrected model or propose alternative device.

SN74LVC2G66-Q1_sim.tsc

Thank you,

Adam

  • Hello Adam,

The model is more-or-less agreeing with the datasheet with  a 1MHz test signal.

     From the data sheet:

From an AC sweep of your circuit shows about 50dB of attenuation at 1MHz: (a transient sim with a 1MHz signal agrees with this)

Your test pulses have frequency content well above 10MHz, which the AC sweep shows the switch doesn’t attenuate so well
