In reply to Yordan Kovachev:
If possible, can you zip up the contents of install_logs/* and post them here? Also, please look for the bitrock*.log files in /tmp and zip up and post them.
In reply to danishinnis:

I have killed it as when the installer came to com.ti.debug.linux.... "in task manager it opens java and other programs" then the program freezes forever and do nothing in task manager, I even let them for a hole day to finish, but it just freezes at that line forever.I have no anti-virus installed
I am having the same issue when installing CCS7.1 as well as CCSv7.0 on Archlinux (64 Bit) and KDE (Plasma 5).
It makes no difference whether installing as normal user or as root.
When using "htop" is see 5 stucked process calls:
/opt/ti/ccsv7/eclipse/downloads/ti_dspack_ibsetup_linux-x64_220.127.116.118.run --mode unattended --ccs true --prefix /opt/ti/ccsv7 --eclipseprefix /opt/ti/ccsv7/eclipse
In addition, I tried to run this stuck application manually, without the "--mode unattended" flag, while I left the previous setup is being stuck (otherwise it deletes this setup file). This opens another install wizard which successfully finishes installation of Debug Server. But on the final page (showing "Completing the Debug Server Setup Wizard"), if I press the "Finish" button, the wizard gets stuck (and the Finish button stays pressed). Furthermore, I get no output in console.
Are there any suggestions on that?
