CCS/LAUNCHXL-F28027: Could not open .out file for built in example program

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28027

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I m trying to dump inbuilt ADC temp sensor code(inbuilt from TI from control suite ) onto my  LAUNCHXL-F28027 C2000 launchpad, the project is building but i m getting this error :

"C28xx: GEL: Encountered a problem loading file: C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\C2000_LaunchPad\f2802x_examples\adc_temp_sensor\RAM\Example_F2802xAdcTempSensor.out Could not open file"

 i m using CCS 8.1 versiion

  • Remove the build option --cdebug_asm_data.  It has not been supported since version 16.6.0.STS.  Please see the article Compiler Option Cleanup.

    The error with --cdebug_asm_data is the only one I see.  What happens when you remove it?  Please be specific.
