CCS: Cloud Agent not working
Part Number: LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1
Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
When I try to install the TI Cloud Agent, I see an error that says it can't find a directory called "C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Texas". I found that directory called "...\Texas Instruments", so maybe there's a typo or the inability to search for a directory with a space in it. I'm using Windows 10.
This problem looks like the same problem as issue #3 of post "CCS: Cloud Agent not working" from Jason Rubadue, see reply from Oct 15, 2018 5:33 PM.
Did you read the CCS Forum Guidelines & FAQ? If not, PLEASE read it. If you haven't read it in awhile, please read it again to see if any updates were made.

What is the issue with CCS on your laptop?
I am having the same issue with installing TIcloudagent_2_tixds110 on windows 10.
When it gets to 'installing target support', the error message pops up as per the title, cant find \Texas (which doesnt exist, only Texas instruments).
I tried renaming the folder to just 'Texas', but then i get a different error during the installation:'This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Settings page.'
Interestingly, I have restarted my PC, then tried to reinstall TIcloudagent and I get the same error, but after closing the window it says installation complete, though it does not work as it supposed to.
I think this is a new issue, as I installed it previously on a laptop around october time and had no problems?
Is there any new info on how to solve this? Thanks

I stopped looking for a solution to this problem because I got a local installation of Code Composer Studio to work. It's interesting that it seems like a more recent version. I wonder whether there's a way to install an earlier version.
