Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
Hi there. I'm wanting to run CCS v8.x on my DELL XPS 13 (3200 pixels wide) and Eclipse displays everything tooooo small - is there a cure?

Hi Scott,
S.A. May said:"4K Display Note (CCS 7.2.0 and earlier) if you are using a 4K display the text will auto scale in the installer which makes it very difficult to read the text displayed within the window area and thus not possible to install CCS. It is recommended to disable text scaling or lower the resolution."
What I'm seeing is that this issue has not yet been resolved as of 8.2
The above is related to the installer. Is this the case for you also (are you trying to install CCS)? Or did you install it already and now just trying to run and use it?
Thanks
ki
That page mentions a few conditions for Ubuntu 18.04 which apply to most Linux, yet no notice of 4k or HiDPI

When you say "change the display scaling" - do you mean just change my display resolution, or some other program specific setting. For example, running Spotify (ordinarily too small text on this device) I start with the command:
spotify --force-device-scale-factor=2.0
And it runs a treat. I feel like there must be something similar for Eclipse but I can't narrow it down :(
