I'm using CCS Version 9.0.0.00018.

Please help. I need to get to a couple examples.

I get the following error when attempting to bring up Resource Explorer:

Warning! Not connected to the cloud server. Working in offline mode.

    Mike,

    I think you need to update the Resource Explorer component inside CCS.  The easiest way to do that is to update to 9.0.1.

    When running 9.0.0 I get this message:

    In 9.0.1 I can access it fine.

    If you check for updates from the help menu it should show you 9.0.1.  It will be called CCSv9 Service Release.

    I "Checked for Update" but the response was: "No updates were found". And all the repositories are "checked".

    I also have another install in Debian. It's version CCS Version: 8.1.0.00011 and has the same problem.

    Mike,

    There was a change to the Resource Explorer server that requires each client to be updated.  There will be an update posted for 8.x as well.

    Can you check your Resource Explorer version in your 9.0.0 install.  If you go to the Help -> About  dialog.  Then click on installation details.  Just type TIREX in the filter box.  

    After installing 9.0.1 I see:

    Is that the version you have?

    OK, I upgraded to that version and still have the problem.

    My teammate is also having the same problem and I have 2 more installations that "were" working fine (Version 8.03) and they are experiencing the same issue.

    I am going to need to loop in the Resource Explorer team. When the new Resource Explorer server was released there were updates posted for CCS (v9, v8 and v7) to update the Resource Explorer component inside CCS to ensure that it continues to work. Without installing those updates Resource Explorer will not work.

    On your v9 install you have applied the update so it should be working.

    Have the updates been applied to any of the other installs?

    Hi Mike,

    Can you help me understand the current status of your CCS ...

    As John mentioned, a new Resource Explorer was release last week. Can you confirm that you saw the message in Resource Explorer asking you to update. If so, can you confirm that you updated and did not see any errors during the update.

    After updating if you can go to Help->About Code Composer Studio and click on "Installation Details" to confirm that the "TIREX Desktop" version is "3.7.0.201903271703".

    Let me know if this is the case ...

    No, I can't confirm that.
    But the version shows to be "3.7.0.201903271703".
    I have 2 installations with CCS version 9.0.1.00004 that do not work and 3 various 8.xx versions that do not work, but these may need to be updated.

    The only directories in /ti are:
    ccs900
    tirex-product-tree

    To send PMs you guys have to be "Friends". Either one of you can click on the others name and the select "Request Friendship". Once that is accepted you will then get another option when you click on the name to send a message.
