CCS: Restoring navigation arrows

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

Usually Code Composer  Studio has 3 arrows on the tool bar. One points to the last modification, one points to the left, and the third points to the right. However, for some unknown reason, the arrows are no longer visible. Not grayed out, but gone! I know a hard way to get them back, but I'm hoping someone can supply an easy way to get them back, as this is not the first, nor third time, they've disappeared.

Thanks

  • With the CCS Edit perspective selected, use the menu item Window -> Perspective -> Customize Perspective. Under the Tool bar Visibility see if the "Last Edit Location", "Back" and "Forward" arrows under Navigate have been de-selected:

Another option is selecting Window -> Perspective -> Reset Perspective, to restore the default perspective settings.

  • Also, the Navigation arrows are not shown in the tool bar in the default configuration for the "CCS Simple" or "CCS Debug" perspectives, so maybe you selected one of those perspectives.

  • As Chester mentioned, those buttons are usually just available in the CCS Edit perspective. You can customize the perspective as mentioned by Chester in his first reply
