CCS/ENERGYTRACE: XDS110 HDR too slow

Dear all,

I am trying to use the XDS110 ADD-ONN HDR, however, for a 60 seconds measurement it takes like 10 minutes.
the question is: do you have the same trouble? I am using the MSP432 (TIDA-01452)

Is it a problem of my computer/code? since it seem to be quite a heavy last for my Harddrive

is there something that could be done to reduce this to improve the time?

Hi,

Which version of Code Composer Studio are you using? I recall there were some bugs in the EnergyTrace display that were fixed in the later CCSv8.2 or CCSv8.3 releases.

Otherwise, you can always try a new workspace and/or remove all the debug server and trace temporary files, as described in section "Delete target cache files" of the Troubleshooting CCS page at:

http://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/users_guide/ccs_troubleshooting.html

I did had CCS v8... just installing v9 and see what happens

So, CCS v9 is for sure better, i think also my anti virus was annoying a bit
