  • Hello,

I do not recommend installing CCSv3.3 on Windows 10. This is a completely unsupported configuration. If you insist on using the unsupported obsolete CCSv3.3, then I would at least suggest installing/using it on a Windows XP machine (a VM should work too). Windows XP is the last OS supported by CCSv3.3.

If you insist on using CCSv3.3 on Windows 10, then look at the below article:

    https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/ccs_ccs33-windows10.html

Note that if your Windows 10 is 64-bits, then you will need to find 64-bit driver support (which does not come with CCSv3.3). Make sure cc_app.exe and cc_setup.exe are run with administrator rights AND Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode.

Again, I strongly do not recommend using CCSv3.3 on Windows 10. Other than the above information, there is very little additional support we can provide.

    Thanks

    ki

  • Erwin,

We don't support this combination of OS and CCS, therefore the most I can do is provide a small procedure that another user did:

    https://e2e.ti.com/support/tools/ccs/f/81/p/468981/2290735#2290735

My recommendation is to source an old machine and install a compatible combination of OS and CCS. Another alternative would be to create a virtual machine (Virtualbox, VmWare, etc.) with a compatible OS - this combination may or may not work for debugging, due to inconsistencies in the device drivers operating across the VM interface.

    Regards,

    Rafael
