Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi there, due to this useless anyway highlighting of identifiers once the cursor is in the text, dark themes are not usable. How can I get rid of this stupid identifier highlighting or change the color selection for it ?

Thanks

    Hi Ralph,

    Please see:

    https://stackoverflow.com/questions/29324184/eclipse-dark-theme-highlight-issue

    specifically the answer by Joannot.

Note that not only can you change the color, you can also change the style of how the occurrence is marked (highlight it, draw a box around it, underline it, etc)

    Thanks

    ki

    Thanks for reaching out,

well first I tried a lot to get it working, second my question is when will it work out of the box.

I could not find any option to change the highlight behavior and the article you provided does not seem to talk about menus I have seen under this options.

But OK I checked this out  with CCS 9.0.1 will check again

    Thank you so far

The default Dark theme is from Eclipse. Any changes would have to be made by the Eclipse community.

However, I'm thinking that what might be good is if we ship with our own "Code Composer Studio - Dark" theme. We could set up that theme properly.

    Thanks

    Latter would be awesome !!!!

as I still can not manage to make code between #if ... #endif visible

and as I said I spend quite a while on it.

    Best wishes
