CCS/AWR1642BOOST: Unable to configure the mmWave module

TI's engineer, hello.
I have a problem. I recently obtained the original adc data of awr1642 on ccs. The chirp and frame configuration parameters have been successfully modified on mss.c, compiled successfully on mmwave build enviroment, and the .xe file is loaded onto the board. However, in the running of the program, the problem shown in the following figure appears.
Q: How can I solve this problem (I configured the parameters based on mmwave sensing estimator)?

Is it only configuration you have change or something else?

Please provide change list or configuration here for us to check.

Hi,

You need to decode the error value SDK throws here.

subSys: 52 --> look this error value in mmwavelink.h

#define RL_RET_CODE_PF_RX_GAIN_INVAL_IN (52U) /* PF_RX_GAIN is not within [24, 52] dB
orPF_RX_GAIN is an odd number */'

So you need to set RxGain in profileCfg within [24, 52]dB and even no.

Thank you for your answer, which made me clear about this issue. Now I want to ask, how to locate the problem based on the error provided in the console bar? E.g:
[Error: -203685722 mmWave: -3108 SubSys: 41]

Hi,

For this type of error message you need to look for subSys error which map to error code defined in mmwavelink.h

Here RL_RET_CODE_PF_RAMP_END_1INVAL_IN=41, i.e either you have set less sampling rate which causes the time to capture requested no. of the sample outside of rampEndTime.
