Compiler/TMS570LS1224: Code composer studio can't resolve _Static_assert C11 keyword

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

Purpose:

I want to use the _Static_assert C11 keyword in my code.

Problem:

Code composer studio can't resolve it

Info:

Code Composer Studio Version: 10.0.0.00010

Compiler version: TI v20.2.0.LTS

C version: C11

Is this normal?

The TI ARM compiler supports C11, but not by default. Add the option --c11. For more details, please search the ARM compiler manual for the sub-chapter titled Changing the ANSI/ISO C/C++ Language Mode.

Hi George,

My apologies, my post was not clear enough.
To my understanding, I'm using the proper compiler with the proper flags configuration.

And the error is still the same.

Maybe the flag is not good enough?

Unfortunately, I am unable to reproduce this behavior. For the source file that sees these error diagnostics, please follow the directions in the article How to Submit a Compiler Test Case.

The "Function '_Static_assert' could not be resolved" errors are from the Eclipse Code Analysis (CODAN), rather than from the compiler. Therefore, these errors don't stop the compiler from building the program.

With CCS 10.0.0.00010 I can't repeat the error, in that when enabled CODAN for a CPP program the analysis was able to resolve _Static_assert or static_assert.
