Are you looking for a way to build a CCS 3.3 project from command line? If so, the timake utility should serve the purpose.
Please check these references:

https://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CCStudio_FAQ#Q:_Can_I_build_my_CCStudio_project_file_outside_of_CCStudio.3F
Also note that this is a very old, unsupported version of CCS. To avail of improved functionality and better support, we would advise updating to a more recent release of CCS.
Hi Aarti,
Thanks for the information provided.
We followed instruction mentioned in section 4.4.3.1 Using the Timake Utility From the Command Line from the user guide.
When we ran command line arguments for cleaning and building the code it gets halted.
Could you please assist to build the project using command line.
Thanks and Regards,
Sudhir H
Sudhir,
What do you mean when you say it gets halted?
With the information provided, I'm afraid I don't have more concrete advice to offer, especially since this version of CCS is no longer supported.
Aarti,
I followed the below mentioned steps.
Setup the environment variable by running batch file
cd C:\ CCStudio_v3.3
DosRun.bat
Run the timake utility located at cd C:\ CCStudio_v3.3\cc\bin
timake.exe D:\30924\30924.pjt cfg -clean –nr
I haven't seen anything in the command prompt, cursor stays always.no output displayed in the command prompt.
Could you please help me.
Can we have call on this.
Thanks and regards,
Sudhir H
Which Windows OS are you running on? The last version of Windows supported by CCS 3.3 is WinXP. If you are running a newer OS, the problems could very well be due to that.
