PMP8606: Design Calculation needed to customize the design

1) Is this design is suitable for Automotive environment??

2) I need Calculations and formulas to tune the Input output values according to my requirement. I did not find any technical documents on this link for this design.

3) The Input values given in schematic is 300to700 volts I hope I can change this to 18V to 120V.

Hello,

This design was not originally done for an automotive environment. However, with proper component choices/ratings and switching to pin-2-pin UCC28951-Q1, it can be modified for an automotive environment.

Changing the input range of this design significantly changes the overall design. If the output power remains the same, the input currents will go up drastically, worst case at 18V. I recommend you use TI's power stage designer to run the numbers http://www.ti.com/tool/POWERSTAGE-DESIGNER
